Zelma Mae Tracy

Zelma Mae Tracy, 81, of Meadville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at home.

Zelma was born in Somerset, on May 8, 1945, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Leola (Joseph) Speelman.

On May 29, 1982, Zelma married Victor Tracy; he survives.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Zelma had been employed by Meadville Walmart for eight years. She had a passion for playing BINGO, particularly at the Kerrtown Community Center. She also enjoyed occasional visits to the casinos. Her family was her life. Her greatest joy was time spent with them, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, Victor, of 44 years, Zelma is survived by a sister Sharon Loze of Meadville, two children Kim Tracy, Joe Evans both of Meadville; ten grandchildren Shay (Kristen) Scannell, Melissa Scannell, David Scannell, Brittanee Gorman, RaeAnn Tracy, Brennan Tracy, Ashton Evans, Kylie Evans, Arin Mattson, Nicole Simmons; 17 great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Zelma was preceded in death by three children Kimberly Wright, Wayne Wright, Wendy Scannell; four brothers Lloyd Jr., Robert, James, and Terry Speelman.

Visitation is from 3-5 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Zelma will be laid to rest in Cochranton Cemetery.
