Wilma L. (McDaniel) Sandoval, 101, of Meadville, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020, at home.

Wilma was born in Cochranton, on October 3, 1919, a daughter of the late Glen A. and Blanche V. (Hoffman) McDaniel.

Wilma Graduated from Cochranton High School and furthered her education by graduating from the former Meadville Commercial College. While living in Meadville she had been employed by the former W. T. Grant Department Store and Talon, Inc. After moving to Tucson, AZ, Wilma was employed by the University of Arizona as the Executive Secretary to the Dean. Besides living in the Meadville area and Tucson, AZ, she also lived in Oklahoma City, OK. Wilma will be remembered for her artistic ability, her love for working with flowers and in her garden and most of all her love of family.

Wilma is survived by two daughters Frances "Fran" R. Smith of Meadville with whom she lived, Alicia L. Bishop (Thom) of Oklahoma City, OK, her grandchildren Gregory T. Smith (Jessica) and their son Brandon of Meadville, Mary Ruck of Denver, CO, Katherine Ann Gilson of Oklahoma City, OK, Rachael Gilson and her child Roman of Seattle, WA, great granddaughter Rosie Alvarez of Oklahoma City, OK who was raised by Wilma the first five years of her life, step daughter Angeline Herrera (Ubaldo) of Tucson, AZ; step daughter in law Judy Sandoval; step grandchildren Lionel (Spooky) Lopez (Beth), Junior Herrera, Bobby Herrera, Tony Herrera, Nicole Lamb Wise (Russell); a step-great granddaughter Jessica; and Joyce Kircher of Meadville, who was like a daughter to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Sandoval, a daughter Grace Victoria "Vick" Gore, step children Carla Dale Lopez and Sandy Sandoval.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Wilma will be laid to rest with her parents in Peters Cemetery.
