William Daniel Douglas Mcmillan Iii

WILLIAM DANIEL DOUGLAS McMILLAN III, 43, of Tacoma, WA, gained his wings to be with the Lord on August 30, 2023.

Our beloved William (BKA Mann and Will) was born on June 14, 1980 to Brenda Byrd (Dowdy) and William McMillan II (Deceased) of Sharon.

Mann was a 1999 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School. He worked in Security Services. Will very proudly served his country for 18 years, in both the Marine Corp and Army. He was deployed and stationed in multiple countries. He received the Iraq Campaign Medal w/two stars, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, USMC Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and many others.

Will married Jenna (Morfenski) Moore of Meadville, went on to have two children Destiny Azariah McMillan (daughter), William Issiah McMillan (son), and was a great father.

Mann was a free spirited individual who loved his family. He loved cooking and was a dedicated Steelers fan. He was a “Multifaceted/Layered” human being who loved life.

He was predeceased by his fathers William McMillan ll and raised by Calvin Bradley, Jr., maternal and paternal grandparents, and paternal uncle.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Byrd (Sam, step-father); siblings Tamika Dowdy, Brandy Scales (Phillip), Adeijae, Akiba (Kia), Rashadeen (Charity), Jason, Sam III, Kenneth, Killian; nephews Sylee, Stohn, Jayceon, Denver; nieces Story, Zariah; a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation is Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 9-11 AM at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Rd., Meadville, where a Home Going Service will follow at 11 AM.
