Tracy J. North

Tracy J. North, 32, also known as T.J. or Tray, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center.

Tracy was born in Meadville, on January 11, 1994, a son of Tracy D. and Candi (Dennis) North.

For the past two years, T.J. was employed by Greenleaf Corporation. He was previously employed by Channellock and Maclean Fogg. A US Marine Corps veteran, Tray served his country honorably from May 6, 2013 until May 5, 2017. He was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Certificates of Commendation and Appreciation, and Expert Rifle Qualification Badge. Tray was a 2012 graduate of Meadville High School where he ran track and was a member of the football team. He enjoyed bowling and demolition derby. He was always full of life and adventure and thought nothing of jumping out of the window at home as a child. His favorite pass time was hanging out with family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

In addition to his parents, Candi and Tracy North, T.J. is survived by three brothers Forrest Schauer (Emma) of Akron, OH, Bryce North of Groton, CT, Kenneth North (girlfriend Amber) of Meadville; maternal grandfather Cecil Dennis (Kathy) of Townville; paternal grandmother Karen North of Meadville; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister Terri Nicole; paternal grandfather Dean North; and maternal grandmother Carol Swabick.

Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 5:30 PM, opening with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stephen P. Mizner FH & CS, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
