Tonja Sue Burchill

Tonja Sue Burchill, 65, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at home.

Tonja was born in Canton, OH, on May 27, 1959, a daughter of the late Donald and Gwendolyn (Harris) Polosky.

On July 18, 2008 Tonja married Guy E, Burchill; he survives. 

Tonja was employed by Crawford Central School District as a teacher aide at the Crawford County Vocational School where she worked in the IU #5 classroom for handicapped students.

In addition to her husband Guy, of 16 years, Tonja is survived by her children Seth Wise of Meadville, Bethany Wise of Maryland; grandchildren Julianna, Pondonlie, Gwendolyn; step children Robert Burchill (Dayna) of Venango, Bradley Burchill (Karen) of Saegertown, Kenneth Burchill of Meadville; step grandchildren Blake, Quinton, Wyatt, Grayson, Calvin and Cullen.

Family and friends are invited to call from 12-1 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Memorial Services will follow at 1 PM with Phil Reinhart celebrating.

Tonja will be laid to rest in Venango Cemetery.
