Timothy "Kite" M. Kightlinger

Timothy Mark Kightlinger “Kite” 64, of Guys Mills, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at home.

He was born in Meadville, on May 15, 1961, a son of the late Norman R. and Ann Catherine (Callahan) Kightlinger.

A 1979 graduate of Meadville High School, Kite had over 30 years of service with Channellock Corporation, where he retired as Maintenance Supervisor of all three plants. He was an amazing father and grandfather, adored his grandchildren so much. He had an immense amount of friends that he considered family. Tim was an extremely hard worker and helped anyone he could. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting all types of game. Kite enjoyed following NASCAR, especially Dale Jarrett.

Kite is survived by two daughters Traci Leigh Jackson (Kirk) of Guyton, GA, Kayla Marie Rodriguez (Keenan) of Flagstaff, AZ, his former wife Nanette Marie Hope of Meadville, PA; five grandchildren Benelli Marie, Harlynn Ash and Daxley Rose Rodriguez, Haley Rae Mooney (John), Cloey Alese Hogue, Haley ElizabethJackson; great grandchildren Marley Jo and Lennox Grayson Mooney; siblings Doris Mushrush (Jim) of Conneaut Lake, Linda Jastromb (Ted) of Meadville, Donald Kightlinger (Cindy) of Saegertown, Norman Kightlinger of Atlantic, Ruth Longstreth (Jim) of Meadville, Patricia Britton (Doug) of Meadville, Steve Kightlinger (Bobbi) of Meadville.

In addition to his parents, Kite was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Everleigh Grace Mooney.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-6 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at South Station 9, 8904 S. Wayland Rd., Meadville.
