Shirley Claire Mowrey

Shirley Claire Mowrey, 88, of Bristolville, OH, formerly of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Continuing Heathcare at the Ridge, Mineral Ridge, OH

Shirley was born in Winchendon, MA, on April 8, 1937, a daughter of the late Leon and Josephine (Joyce) Breton.

Shirley had been married to Earl Mowrey; he preceded her in death.

She was of the Methodist Faith. After high school, Shirley earned her Cosmetology license. For 19 years she was employed by Simplex Time Recorder Company in Garner, MA, as an Inspector/Supervisor. Shirley enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and the quiet time while doing so.

Shirley is survived by three children Dianne Hubbard of Templeton, MA, Jodie Laperriere (Ron Wolfe) of Bristolville, OH, Robin Mowrey (Sherry) of Royalston, MA; eleven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a brother in law Richard Preble of West Newbury, MA; seven nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter Marsha Morancie; siblings Leona Preble and Madeleine Couture.

Services will be held at a future date.

Shirley will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth, NH.
