Sharon Elaine DiMartino

Sharon Elaine DiMartino, 85, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Sharon was born in Richland, PA, on July 21, 1940, a daughter of the late Steven and Nancy (Taylor) Boysza.

On January 31, 1961, Sharon married Frank DiMartino; he preceded her in death on May 29, 2020.

Sharon was a 1958 graduate of Richland High School.

Over the years she had been employed by various local grocery stores including the former Thorofare and Riverside. She started as a cashier and worked her way up to bakery manager. She was an active member of Meadville Medical Center Auxiliary and volunteered in the gift shop. She enjoyed following the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. Sharon had a special fondness for her dogs, Houston and Ben as well as her African Grey Parrot Moe. She was passionate about reading and enjoyed golfing and bowling. It may not have been about the game, but she loved the socializing that came along with the game where she made and maintained many friendships.

Sharon is survived by two children Sheri Allegretti (Christopher) of Meadville, Jeffrey DiMartino (Denise) of Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren Zachary, Christopher, Alexandra, Rebekah, Joseph, Michael; six great grandchildren Caden, Grayson, Eliana, Oliver, Giovanni, Vivian; a brother Skippy Boysza; many nieces and nephews including Jody and Gary Boysza; and good neighbors and friends including Judy Miller, Veronica Assay, and Jan Mailliard.

In addition to her parents, and her husband Frank of 59 years, Sharon was preceded in death by a brother Gary Boysza.

Per Sharon's wishes, no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sharon's memory to Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Road, or Humane Society of Crawford County, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, both in Meadville, PA 16335.
