Ruth Elizabeth Messina

Ruth Elizabeth Messina, 64, of 22264 Little Cooley Rd., Union City, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at St. Vincent Health System, Erie.

Ruth was born in Corry, on March 9, 1954, a daughter of the late Vance D. and Betty (Burger) Buell.

On November 18, 1978 Ruth married Lewis Messina; he survives.

Ruth was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, Lewis, of 39 years, Ruth is survived by a daughter Ruth E. Seigworth (Mike), a son Lewis Messina, Jr. (Renee) both of Union City, three grandchildren Zachary Seigworth, Patrick Seigworth, Anthony Messina, two brothers Vance Buell, Jr. of Montana and Lance Buell (Mary) of Corry.

She was preceded in death by three stillborn grandchildren Dominic, Noah and Emily Messina and three sisters Patricia, Barbara and Delores.

Following private services, Ruth will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
