Rose Marie Allen

Rose Marie Allen, 83, of Meadville, passed away peacefully at her home on September 13, 2025.

She was born on January 9, 1942, a daughter of the late John and Bernadette (Zoria) Saggio.

Rose married Gerald "Jerry" Allen on October 23, 1965, and is the mother of John and Sue; grandmother of Jake; and a second mom to Mark and Sheri.

Rose was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, attended St. Brigid Catholic School, and graduated from Meadville High School in 1959.

She worked as a secretary/accountant and as a seamstress.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandson, niece, and nephews.

A viewing for close family and friends will be from 12-1:30 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST. MEADVILLE.

A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 2:00 PM at St. Brigid Church, 383 Arch St. Meadville, with Fr. Kyle Seyler, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Rose will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Rose's memory to Gentiva Hospice, 1119 Park Ave., Suite 7, Meadville, PA 16335, in appreciation and support of her care givers and their amazing work.
