Rosato "Louie" Luigi Fidanza

Rosato "Louie" Luigi Fidanza, 94 of Grove City, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Allegheny Health Networks of Grove City.

Louie was born in Waterbury, CT, on February 20, 1929, a son of the late Agostino and Anna (Cipriani) Fidanza.

On December 10, 2019 Louie married Geraldine (Gerri) Vernon Weaver; she survives.

Louie attended Duggan Elementary School and Leavenworth High School both of Waterbury, CT. He worked as a salesman for Al's Seafood and Maine Coast Lobster. From 1981 until 1991 he was a successful business man and proud owner of Ocean Crest Seafood Company, selling the company when he retired at the age of 62. Shortly after, he relocated to Cochranton, PA.

In addition to his wife Geraldine, Louie is survived by four children Lynn Prifty (Ray), Paul Fidanza, Greg Fidanza and Mark Fidanza (Victoria); seven grandchildren Michael, David, Matthew, Anthony, Michael, Nicholas and Kristina; two great grandchildren, Gage and Leo; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his first wife Concetta Ciccio Fidanza who died on August 6, 2016, Lou was preceded in death by a daughter Judith Ann Gagliardi, siblings Emma Magaldi, Irma Fabiani, Margaret Fidanza, Agostino Fidanza, Julio Fidanza and Carmine Fidanza.

Family and friends are invited to call from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM with The Rev. Patricia Lavery officiating.
