Ronald "Butch" D. Gourley

Ronald "Butch" David Gourley, 84, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Embassy of Park Ave., Meadville.

Butch was born in Meadville, on November 24, 1941, a son of the late Eugene and Caroline Gourley.

After a successful career, Butch retired from IBM as a Customer Engineer after many years of service. He served in the PA National Guard. Butch was a social member of the Italian Civic Club. He was passionate about hunting and fishing.

Butch is survived by Patricia Gourley of Meadville; a brother Thomas Gourley of TN; a nephew Ronald; a niece Michelle both of TN; a great nephew Ronald of FL; and a step daughter LuAnn of VA.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his step daughter Laurie Riordon.

Family and friends are invited to call from 3-4 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 4 PM.

Butch will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.
