In loving memory of Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Brewton

Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Brewton, 78, of Meadville passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center, with her daughter at her side.

Rebecca was born in Youngstown, OH, on March 31, 1948, a daughter of the late Richard D. and Kathryne Virginia (Hessler) Stitle.

Becky was a graduate of Meadville High School and went on for certification in Early Childhood Education at Edinboro University. She worked as a teacher, Day Care Director, and Administrator at Unity Institute, and as a teacher at Little Champs until her retirement. She was a member of Unity Faith Fellowship Church of God. She had an unwavering love of her family, love for dogs, and enjoyed working outside.

She is survived by one daughter, Natoscha S. Rucker of Atlanta, GA; two sons by marriage Jason Brewton (Jen) of Pittsburgh, Derek Brewton of Flint, MI; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Brewton; brother Richard D. Stitle, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX.

Private services will be held.
