Rebecca "Becky" A. (Rotkovecz) Schreckengost

Rebecca "Becky" A. (Rotkovecz) Schreckengost, 66, of Meadville, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at home, surrounded by her family.

Becky was born in Meadville, on March 13, 1957, a daughter of the late John J. and Sandra (Ewing) Rotkovecz.

After more than 20 years of service, Becky retired from the housekeeping department of Allegheny College. She attended Meadville schools and while growing up, she attended Bible Study at the Salvation Army. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word searches, shopping, going to yard sales and being outdoors. She also enjoyed making arts and crafts as well as cooking with her family. She had a love for all animals, especially her cat. Her greatest joy was time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Becky is survived by four children Bruce Mattocks, Kimberly Yount (John), Amber Rossey (Jason) all of Meadville, Megan Schreckengost (companion Cody Eager) of Jefferson, OH; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren with another on the way; three sisters Judy Feleppa (George), Sherry Brown, Penny Rotkovecz (boyfriend Clint Prussia), all of Meadville; two brothers John Rotkovecz of Conneautville, Steve "Rocky" Rotkovecz of Meadville, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by a sister Kim Rambo; three nieces Anieli Rotkovecz, Amy Rotkovecz, and Stephanie Turner.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10-12 on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, with a Memorial Service to follow at 12 PM.
