Patricia "Pat" June Darling

Patricia "Pat" June Darling, 80, of Meadville, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at home with her family by her side.

Pat was born in Wood Dale, IL, on November 30, 1941, a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Jentazese) Ploechinger.

On January 17, 1976 Pat married William "Bill" J. Darling; he survives.

Pat enjoyed her flowers, fishing, playing BINGO, visiting the casinos and spending time with her great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Bill, of 46 years, Pat is survived by two children Michael Whippo (Chris) of Magnolia, TX, Penny Gamble (Gary) of Meadville; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two sisters Rosemarie Knierim, Linda Marley both of CA; a step daughter Catherine Cella (Marco) of NC, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by three grandchildren Connor McGrath, Gary Alexander, Heather Whippo, and a brother Henry Ploechinger.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pat's life at an open house from 2-4 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the family's home on 14603 Dickson Rd., Meadville.
