Patricia A. Bowler

Patricia A. Bowler, formerly of Meadville, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She resided with her daughter in Shadyside the past few years.

Patricia was born in Meadville, a daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Jannot) Riordan.

Patricia married John E. Bowler; who died earlier in 2013.

She was a lifetime member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church.

Patricia attended the former St. Brigid Catholic School until the eighth grade and graduated from Meadville High School with honors. Following high school, she attended business classes. She worked at the former Westinghouse as a secretary before beginning her 30 year career with the IRS, Erie office.

Patricia is survived by two children Charles E. Bowler (Christine) of Millcreek, Dr. Kathleen Bowler of Shadyside, a grandson Nicholas Bowler of Philadelphia, a nephew Paul E. Schutz of Meadville, her two furry friends Sophia and Rokkett.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Patricia was preceded in death by a son James Michael Bowler and a sister Josephine M. Schutz.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday August 22, 2019 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas, Pastor of St. Brigid Church, officiating.

Patricia will be laid to rest next to her husband, John, in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.
