Norma Jean Perrine

Norma Jean Perrine, 92, of Saegertown, formerly of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Crawford County Care Center.

Norma was born in Sharon, on January 15, 1929, a daughter of the late Waldo W. and Dorothy (Dean) Stewart.

On May 28, 1948, Norma married John Edward Perrine; he preceded her in death in Nov. of 1983.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Norma retired from the former Avtex Corp. also known as FMC, where she worked as a re-draw operator. Following her graduation from Cochranton High School in 1947, Norma had worked for the former W.L. Moore Plant and Isaly's of Cochranton. She had been a member of Meadville Elks Auxiliary, West Mead Township Women's Auxiliary, Meadville Medical Center Auxiliary and was a volunteer at Meadville Medical Center. She enjoyed playing cards in various card clubs. Her hobbies included doing latch hook, painting with watercolors, embroidering, watching as well as feeding the birds and working in her yard, especially planting flowers. She loved time spent with family, especially making spinach balls and cookies with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Norma is survived by four children, Monalee Petrillo (Sam "Chip") of Mississauga, Ontario, John E. Perrine (wife Nancy) of Meadville, Thomas E. Perrine (Joann) of Conneautville, William Daniel "Dan" Perrine (Michelle) of Meadville, 12 grandchildren Dana Gelineau (Brian), Terri Petrillo both of Ontario, Brett Petrillo (Heather) of the Philippines, Travis Perrine (Andrea) of Meadville, Eric Perrine of Philadelphia, triplets Jerrard Perrine (Angie) of Conneaut Lake, Justin Perrine (Raye) of Cooperstown, Jason Perrine (Melissa) of Saegertown, Starr Amy (Dave) of Saegertown, Stacey Lynn of Harmonsburg, Sam Morgan (Cairi) of East Berlin, Alyssa Swain of Rochester, NY; eleven great grandchildren Kira Gelineau, Cole Perrine, Alex Perrine, Joshua Perrine, Jaxton Amy, Ben Lynn, Maggie Lynn, Danielle Morgan, Samantha Brett Morgan, Dillon Morgan, Alani Donovan; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, John, of 35 years Norma was preceded in death by a brother Robert Dean Stewart, three sisters Ida Boyd, Esther Tunstall and Dorothy Hilliard.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 2-5 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 5 PM with Pastor Harold Walton officiating. CDC guidelines will be followed

Norma will be laid to rest next to her husband, John, in Cochranton Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Crawford County Care Center and Kindred Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Activities Fund of Crawford County Care Center, 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, PA 16433.
