Mrs. Nancy G. Taylor, 85, of Saegertown, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at MMC Transitional Care.

Nancy was born in Pittsburgh on June 27, 1940, the daughter of the late Dr. Robert J. and Theresa (Vetter) Gilardi.

On June 6, 1964 Nancy married Dr. John O. Taylor, MD; he survives.

She was of the Presbyterian Faith.

Nancy had been employed as a Medical Records Administrative consultant to various local nursing homes. She had previously been employed as a therapeutic support staff for Community Alternatives of Meadville, a substitute teacher for Penncrest and Crawford Central School Districts as well as the Crawford County Area Vocational Technical School, Director of Medical Records for Bridgeville State Hospital, Medical Records Consultant and trainer of new employees to the newly opened Hammonton General Hospital, Assistant Director of Medical Records then promoted to the ancillary instructor of Medical Terminology both at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and Director of Medical Records for Ancora State Hospital, Ancora, NJ. A 1961 graduate of Allegheny College Nancy earned a BA degree in English along with a minor in secondary education. She furthered her education at the University of Pennsylvania where she attended the Graduate School of Medical Records and earned her certification as a Registed Record Administrator in 1962. An active supporter of her community, Nancy was a member of the Antique Study Club, Meadville Garden Club, the Crawford County Master Gardeners and the Crawford County Humane Society where she served on the Board of Directors. She continued to share her talents by volunteering her time and services to the Crawford County Humane Society, Women's Services of Crawford County, The Meadville YWCA, Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, Crawford County Medical Auxiliary and the Meadville Community Theater. An avid reader, Nancy's hobbies included Ukrainian egg painting, furniture refinishing, cooking, traveling, embroidering and doing needle point.

In addition to her husband Dr. John O. Taylor, Nancy is survived by a daughter Amy Iseton Taylor Sebring of Bradford Woods, three cousins Logan Luce of Meadville, Thomas Vetter, Jr. of San Francisco, CA and Pamela Magnin of Anaheim, CA.

In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by two daughters Jennifer Rhys Taylor, an infant Hannah Elizabeth Taylor, a sister Marilyn Beth Gilardi.

Private services will be held.
