Nancy M. (Yurisic) Moeller

Nancy M. (Yurisic) Moeller, 72, of Montevallo, AL, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at Baptist Health Shelby Hospital, Alabaster, AL, surrounded by family.

Nancy was born in Meadville, on August 24, 1953, a daughter of the late Charles C. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Funciello) Yurisic.

On July 28, 1973, Nancy married Rainer Moeller; he survives.

Nancy was very active in her church and renewed her love of God on September 11, 2023, during her baptism.

She was a 1971 graduate of Meadville High School and went on to earn her Licensed Practical Nursing certification from the Crawford County Vo-Tech. She had a long and successful nursing career working in various hospitals, nursing homes, and in private care. She delighted in caring for others at work and at home. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and in her younger years, she bowled in a league. Her greatest joy in life was time spent with family, especially vacations with her grandchildren. She will be remembered most for her great sense of humor and story tellings. Nancy will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, Rainer, of 52 years, Nancy is survived by a daughter Debra L. Benz (Rob); three grandchildren Ava Yohn, Dalton Yohn, Bryant Benz, all of Duncansville, PA; her brother Mark Yurisic (Karen) of Meadville, PA, a niece Carrie Williams (John), two nephews Chad Yurisic (Sarah), Cory Yurisic (Whitney); several great nieces and nephew; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a sister Virginia "Ginny" Yurisic.

Visitation is from 5-7 PM on Monday, February 2, 2026, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Nancy will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.
