Mildred Koket, 89, of Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Crawford County Care Center.

Mildred was born in Meadville, on October 15, 1929, a daughter of the late Julius and Albeana (Borkevic) Wargo.

On July 1, 1950 Mildred married John Koket; he preceded her in death on October 6, 2008.

A graduate of Meadville High School, Mildred was employed by the former Grant's Feed Store in Meadviile for many years. She later became employed by the former K-Mart of Meadville where she retired as Ladies Apparel Manager. Mildred loved working outside in her flower beds, playing cards and BINGO. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Mildred is survived by two sons Kevin Koket (Maryanne) of Asheville, NC, Jeffrey Koket (Kathleen) of Meadville, five grandchildren John Koket (Jessica) of Roxboro, NC, Jennifer Mudger (Jason) of Meadville, Storey Koket (Amber) of Belmont, NC, Gillian Stumbo (William) of Honeoye, NY, Emily Dunn (Brandon) of Roxboro, NC, nine great grandchildren Hayden Edelblute, Elizabeth Koket, Travis Mudger, Logan Walker, Nate Koket, Tyler Koket, Eli Stumbo, Will Stumbo, Kirsten Downey, two sisters Virginia Terrill (C. Lewis) of Saegertown, Audrey Ferris (Max) of Cambridge Springs, four sisters in law Cecilia Koszwara of Meadville, Elaine Koket of Guys Mills, Teresa Powell of Sunrise, FL, Genevive Hilgheimer of Augusta, GA, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, John, of 58 years.

Mildred's wishes were no calling hours and a private funeral service.

She will be laid to rest with her husband in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crawford County Care Center, 20881 State Highway 198, or Saegertown Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 164, both in Saegertown, PA 16433.

The family would like to thank Mildred's caregiver Laura Loper, Hospice of Crawford County and the staff of the Crawford County Care Center for the wonder care they provided.
