Marilyn J. (D'Amico) Miller, 74, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL due to injuries sustained in a fire in Delray Beach, FL, where she has resided for the past 13 years.

Marilyn was born in Meadville, PA on July 21, 1947, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Tagliaferri D’Amico.

She married Gary L. Miller on October 8, 1983.

She was a former member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Meadville, PA and was also affiliated with St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Boynton Beach, FL. Marilyn maintained her faith throughout her life.

Marilyn was a 1965 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School. After 33 years of service, Marilyn retired in 1999 from the PA Department of Environmental Protection in Meadville, where she was a Clerical Supervisor and Assistant to Regional Director, Richard Zinn. She previously had been employed by the former Montgomery Wards.
Marilyn was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority, bowling leagues, and a golfer. She also enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuit, Rummikub; and cards, for which she belonged to a card club for over 30 years.

Marilyn in survived by four sisters, Joyce (John) Fellows of Mentor, OH; Patricia (Jerry) Reedy of Saxonburg, PA; Joetta Robison of Meadville; and Concetta (Kevin) Kaputa of Conneaut Lake; and former husband, Gary L. Miller of Meadville; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Also a wonderful and close friend of 50 years, Neilia Oiler of Boca Raton, FL.

She was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, her furry companions, Abby and Carly.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:30 PM.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Jeff Lucas, Pastor, officiating.

Marilyn will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.
