Kathy L. (VanBuren) Robacker

Kathy L. (VanBuren) Robacker, 75, of Knightdale, NC, formerly of Crawford County, passed away at home, unexpectedly on Friday, January 23, 2026, due to injuries suffered from a fall.

Kathy was born in Meadville, on January 13, 1951, a daughter of the late Newton "Bud" and Marian (Hollenbeck) VanBuren.

On June 6, 1987, Kathy married Dale Robacker; he preceded her in death in 2004.

Kathy was a 1968 graduate of Saegertown High School. Over the years she was employed by the former Riverside Market, as a sales representative for Kebler Company and by Walmart. She held a soft heart for children and was a dedicated volunteer for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). She held a deep interest in women's issues and was politically aware. Kathy was very family oriented and was a wonderful daughter, sister, mom, and aunt. She will be sadly missed.

Kathy is survived by two children Tom Robacker (Donna) and their daughter Casey (Dan) of IL, Tanya Robacker of WA; two brothers Richard VanBuren of Meadville, Gary VanBuren of Conneautville; brother in law Tom Stang of Meadville; sister in law Anita Robacker of Daytona Beach Shores, FL; nieces and nephews Jason Shallenberger, Tammy VanBuren, David VanBuren, Isaac VanBuren, Jason Miller (Jenna), Jessica Whalen (Tom); all her Robacker nieces and nephews; many great nieces, nephews, and friends, including Miss Tiffany Gillespie Lewis of Elizabethtown, NC.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kathy was preceded in death by a sister Sharon Stang, a brother in law Bob Robacker; and a sister in law Shirley Robacker Hammer.

Per Kathy's wishes, no services will be held.
