Kathleen A. Luikart

Kathleen A. Luikart, 78, of Saegertown, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 at home.

Kathleen was born in Meadville, on Valentines Day, February 14, 1947, a daughter of the late Walter and Violet (Shorts) Jennes.

On August 30, 1969 Kathleen married Howard A. Luikart at the Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church. Howard loved and cared for Kathleen amazingly for many years.

Kathleen had been employed for many years at the former Multi Tool & Plastics and previously worked for Spectrum Control, both of Saegertown. She was a member of the Saegertown American Legion Post #205 Auxiliary. Kathleen was an avid BINGO player, enjoyed shopping, putting together puzzles and playing UNO. Her greatest enjoyment was caring for her family, especially chauffeuring her grandchildren to their many activities. She will be missed.

In addition to her husband, Howard, of 55 years, Kathleen is survived by two children Heather Luikart of Saegertown, Mike Luikart of FL, grandchildren AJ (Brian), Bryson, Brennon (Shantelle), Shawnee (Nicole), Kamron (Molly), Kegan (Alexis), Brittney (Jake), Tylor, Chelsea (Danny), Josh (Amber), KK, 20 great grandchildren with one on the way, a brother Gary Jennes of Saegertown with whom while growing up, enjoyed riding horses together and had many memories with her 57 Chevy Belair, niece Connie Heubel (Harold) whom she loved to spend time with, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend Loralee Lidey.

She was preceded in death by her children Sheli Bump, Eric Luikart, siblings Ellen, Autumn and Gloria.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 2 PM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 330 BROAD STREET, SAEGERTOWN, where Funeral Services will follow at 2 PM.

Kathleen will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
