Karl M. Myers

Mr. Karl M. Myers, formerly of Meadville, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Snyder Memorial Health Care Center, Marienville.

Karl was born on March 5, 1939, in Franklin, a son of the late Elizabeth A. (Brady) and Charles M. Myers.

He graduated from Meadville Senior High School in 1959 where he lettered in music and played in the High School Band. He was an active member of Church of the Nazarene, Meadville, and held several offices in the youth department. Karl will always be remembered for his strong Christian faith and witness for Jesus Christ. He truly will be missed by his family and friends who knew him.

He is survived by two brothers, Jack L. Myers of Meadville, and Chaplain (Col) USA, Ret., Donald W. Myers of Columbia, SC., and several nephews, cousins, and nieces.

He was predeceased in death by his wife, Ida Mae Myers, his parents and a younger brother, Charles D. Myers.

A memorial graveside service will be held on August 22, 2014, at 2:00 P.M., at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 17045 Conneaut Lake, Road, Meadville. The chapel will be used in case of inclement weather.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
