Joseph Carl Enneking

Joseph Carl Enneking, age 90 of Meadville, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday September 20, 2025.

He was born September 8, 1935 in Frankfort, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois, his parents Robert and Lilly, his sister Judy and his sons Bradley and David.

He is survived by his daughters Cynthia (Jonathan) Bivens, Susan (Gary) Corona, and daughter-in-Law Luann Enneking; brother Jerry; grandchildren Courtney (Joey) Johns, Katie (Paul) Lehner, Joey (Leslye) Enneking, Kelsey (Kevin Avilia) Carlson, Bradley (Natalie) Carlson, and David Corona. Great-grandchildren Elliett Enneking, Kinsey Johns, Aubrey Johns, Mollie Lehner, and Lillie Lehner.

Joe graduated Valedictorian from Tipton High School in 1953, and from Purdue University with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1957. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He graduated from the University of Washington Atmospheric and Climate Science program in Meteorology with the United States Airforce and served as a Meteorologist until honorably discharged as a Captain. Joe loved his work as a Chemical Engineer with Union Carbide Corporation for 25 years and continued his career at Nuclear Consulting Services until he was 83. Joe Enneking’s long and fruitful life was filled to the brim with his wife Lois, their four children, six grandchildren, five great-granddaughters, countless friends and family. He made fantastic fudge and pork tenderloin sandwiches, gave intense hugs, loved reading, singing, fishing, playing the piano, going to the gym, hosting parties, beach vacations, leading Bible Studies and talking about the love of God and Good News in Jesus Christ.

A small graveside service will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, Indiana on Thursday September 25, 2025, at 1 PM.
