Jodi Sue Kearns

Jodi Sue Kearns, 36, of West Sunbury, formerly of Meadville, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital.

Jodi was born in Titusville, on July 19, 1989, a daughter of Jeffery Hanby I and the late Terri Faye (Frantz) Hanby.

Jodi was a 2007 graduate of Union City High School. She was employed as a Direct Support Professional with Community Options in Butler, and was previously employed by the ARC of Crawford County. Jodi enjoyed hunting and fishing. Her life's greatest joy was time spent with family, especially her children. Jodi will live on not only through her family, but also through the lives which were saved by her organ donation.

Jodi is survived by her children Kane Whitton of West Sunbury, Gavyn Kearns of Butler; her father Jeffery Hanby I of Union City; her brother Jason Hanby (fiance' Courtney Edge) of Dorset, OH; nieces and nephews Jason Hanby II, Rachael Hanby, Owen Hanby, LakeLynn Hanby, and Holden Hanby.

She was preceded in death by infant twins; her mother Terry Hanby; and brother Jeffery Hanby II.

Visitation is from 4-6 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 6:30 PM with Pastor Trevor Brubaker officiating.
