James "Jim" E. Maloney

James "Jim" E. Maloney, 73, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Jim was born in Buffalo, NY on July 24, 1945, a son of the late Max B. and Jane (Colter) Maloney.

He was a member of Unitarian Universalist Church, Meadville.

Jim retired from GE of Erie after many years of service. He enjoyed walking and could be found walking Presque Isle everyday; when he was no longer able to walk he rode his bike around the peninsula.

Jim is survived by three children Edward James Maloney of Manhattan, NY, Mark A. Maloney (Carol) of Meadville, Sarah Orsini of Erie, three grandchildren Eli, Max and David, a sister Kathy Maloney of Conneaut Lake, and a Brother Max Maloney of Beaver Falls.

At the family's request there will no be services.
