Heather G. Scovil, 57, of Meadville, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 15, 2026, at home.
Heather was born in Ashtabula, OH on July 16, 1968, a daughter of the late Philip and Joan G. (Martin) Scovil.
She was of the United Methodist Faith.
Heather attended Linesville schools before graduating in 1986 from Maplewood High School where she played softball, sang is the school chorus and attended District Chorus. She attended school in Franklin to become a certified Radiation Technician, then worked for Meadville Medical Center for ten years. She continued working as a Radiation Technician traveling to various hospitals before working full time for Titusville Hospital until her health began to decline. Heather was fun loving and delighted in dancing, singing karaoke - especially Broadway musicals, Barbara Streisand songs, and songs from The Sound of Music. She enjoyed CB radioing and her pets were always very important to her, with a special fondness for her dogs. Heather felt blessed to really have connected with friends at Connect 55+ where she enjoyed playing cards. She will be most remembered for being kind and friendly. She will be missed.
Heather is survived by three sisters Deborah Whiteside (Scott) of Linesville, Deadra Weaver (Ron) of Rome, OH, Fawn Miller (Greg) of Rixford; two brothers Glenn Scovil (Lynn) of Jamestown, Timothy Scovil (LeeAnn) of Meadville; step mother Constance Scovil Lauria (Chuck) of Guys Mills; many nieces and nephews; her partner of 15 years Bob Titus and his family.
She was preceded in death by a step sister Shannon; her father Philip Scovil; her mother and step father Joan and Duane Martin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
