Harold G. Cole
On September 29, 1984, Harold married Betty (Kiser) Yoder; she survives.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and attended Saegertown schools. A veteran, Harold entered the US Army on September 5, 1961 and served his country honorably until August 28, 1963. Most of his service time was spent in Germany. Harold worked with the Bridge Maintenance Crew for Crawford County.
In addition to his wife, Betty, of 39 years, Harold is survived by five step children Gabriel Yoder (Meghan), Jonathan Yoder (Melody), Edwin "Louie" Goans (Laurie), Priscilla Holtzhauser (William), E. Lee Goans (Cathy); step grandchildren Travis Holtzhauser (Hilary), Tyler Holtzhauser, Timothy Holtzhauser, Jessica Merchant (Jesse), Candace Yoder, Jacob Yoder, Blaise Yoder, Kaylen Yoder, Keith Stafford (Gina), Joe Stafford, Scott Stafford; step great grandchildren Charlotte Holtzhauser, Asher Holtzhauser, Maximus Merchant, Kelsey Merchant, Kara Stafford; two sisters Charlotte Jobe (Wayne), Ida Cole; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by siblings Frank, Leon, and Rose.
Family and friends are invited to call from 2-4 PM on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Grace United Methodist Church, 828 N. Main St., Meadville, with Rev. Rebecca Patterson officiating. Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006 will follow.
Harold will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.
