Harold George Arndt, Jr.

Harold George Arndt, Jr., 79, of Meadville, passed away August 19, 2025.

Harold was born in Meadville, on June 11, 1946, son of the late Harold George and Madeline (Case) Arndt, Sr.

He was a 1966 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School, An Army veteran, he served his country honorably for two years, stationed in Korea. He was employed by Talon until it closed, then worked various jobs until his retirement. He was a member of American Legion, Pioneer Steam and Gas Society, Lake Erie Side Banders, and Greenwood VFD, serving as Fire Police Captain and Forest Fire Warden for over twenty years.

He is survived by sisters Sandra Urquhart (Daniel), Karen Campbell; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family is grateful to the doctors and staff at MMC, Hamot, Barco Center, and the VA for their care and support.

Services will be announced and held in the near future.
