With heavy hearts, we announce Guido Frank Trucco, age 57, of Meadville, passed away Friday, October 23, 2026, at Ashtabula Medical Center. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and Marine Corps veteran.

Guido was born in Meadville, on July 6, 1969, the youngest of six children to the late Anthony John and Harriet (Payne) Trucco. His life was shaped by his deep sense of duty and love for his family.

He was a lifetime member of St. Mary of Grace Church where he served as an altar boy with the late Rev. Fr. Francis Gabamonte, was baptized with George and Emmaline Trucco serving as God Parents, and received his confirmation with Sebastian Trucco as his sponsor.

Guido was a 1987 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High where he was a member of the Swim Team. During these years he enjoyed going to the 2001 Club, working as a Life Guard, skate boarding, and playing soccer. After attending a semester at Edinboro University, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps to follow in the footsteps of his father who was a WW II veteran and who was involved with the Battle of Iwo Jima. Guido was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Combat Action Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. While in the service, Guido traveled through Europe, Asia, and the Middle East which led to his love of traveling. Following his military years, he traveled extensively both domestic and internationally. He held close the great memories of visiting Las Vegas with his family. He was a member of Saegertown American Legion Post #205, the Italian Civic Club, and VFW Post 2006. Guido enjoyed going to concerts, cooking and keeping himself in shape by working out at the Vernon YMCA. During the final years of his illness, he found comfort, peace and enjoyment with his daily visits to the Meadville Area Recreation Complex.

Guido is survived by two sisters Emmaline D. Trucco, Tinamarie A. Trucco both of Meadville; two sisters in law Susan M. Trucco of Meadville, Bonnie L. Trucco of Coraopolis; nephews Lt. Col.
