Glenn S. Higby

Glenn S. Higby, 72, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Meadville Medical Center.

Glenn was born at the former Spencer Hospital, in Meadville, on August 28, 1953, a son of the late Norman and Margaret (Aaron) Higby.

Glenn grew up in Grace United Methodist Church. He had a long time passion for motorcycles. Over the years he owned many Honda motorcycles that he enjoyed working on as well as riding. He found great solace in long, solo rides. Although he was a quiet man, he was a great conversationalist and appreciated his conversations with family and friends.

Glenn is survived by siblings Virginia Jones of Rosamond, CA, Judith Crook of Grover, NC, Paul Higby (Beth) of Sheffield, Doug Higby (Linda) of Meadville; sister in law Treva Higby of Cochranton; brother in law Jerry Baker of Spring Creek; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by siblings Mary Lou Baker, Thomas Higby; and a brother in law Harry Jones.

No services will be held.

Glenn will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.
