Francis "Frank" Joseph Nigro

Francis "Frank" Joseph Nigro, 82, of Arlington, VA, formerly of Meadville, passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at home.

Frank was born in Meadville, on February 21, 1943, a son of the late Lorenzo and Bernarda (Torretta) Nigro.

After 29 years of service, Frank retired in 2001 from F.D.I.C. He was a 1961 graduate of Meadville High School and while living in Meadville, was a member of St. Mary of Grace Church where he served as an Altar Boy in his younger years. He enjoyed traveling.

Frank was the last surviving of his siblings, having been predeceased by Theresa Nigro, Mary Farkus, Joseph Nigro, Benjamin Nigro and John Nigro.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville.

Frank will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.
