Emogene Booth

Emogene Boothe, 94, of Meadville, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at LECOM Senior Living Center, Erie.

Emogene was born in Vaughan, WV on January 7, 1929, a daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Keith) Foster.

Emogene married James C. Boothe June 20, 1954; he preceded her in death on July 1, 1991.

Emogene is survived by two daughters Lee Hart (Richard) of Blooming Valley, Barbara Labry of Citra, FL; two grandsons David Hart of Erie, Thomas Hart (Stephanie) of Meadville; two great grandchildren Brooke and Brandon Hart of Meadville; a sister Josephine Humphrey of Belva, W;, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Emogene was preceded in death by a son Gary Boothe; daughter Mary Boothe; granddaughter Beverly Foster; siblings Preston Foster, Mazie Markle, Radie Price, Mildred O'Dell; and son in law Charly Labry.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 5-6 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE, where a Memorial Service will follow at 6 PM with Rev. Jeff Conley officiating.

Emogene will laid to rest in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Ashtabula, OH, with her husband James.
