Emma (Miller) Brown

Emma Miller Brown, 97, of Meadville, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2026, at home with her family by her side.

Emma was born in Huntsburg, OH, on January 4, 1929, a daughter of the late David E. and Sarah (Gingerich) Miller.

On May 4, 1964 Emma married Oliver E. Brown; he preceded her in death on November 6, 2026.

Emma is survived by a daughter Mary Anne Miller (Andy) of Meadville; a step son Bobby Brown of Cleveland, OH; 18 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 93 great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; 1 step great great grandchild; a sister Mary Byler (Alvin) of Munfordville, KY; two brothers David Miller, Jr. (Barbara), Joe Miller (Elizabeth); two brothers in law Jonas Byler, Melvin Miller all of Munfordville, KY; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Emma was preceded in death by four sisters; three brothers; two step children; and one great grandchild.

Visitation is Monday and Tuesday, November 9 and 10, 2026, at The Guys Mills Amish Community Building, 7394 Vincent Rd., Cochranton, where Funeral services will be held at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, with Enos Yoder officiating.

Emma will be laid to rest in Frenchtown Amish Cemetery.
