Edward Charles Knuff

Edward Charles Knuff, 86, of Saegertown, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 9, 2025; he was surrounded by his family.

Ed was born in Youngstown, OH, on April 8, 1939, a son of the late Edward and Legretta Knuff.

He married Patricia Ann (Hackett) and they shared over 60 years of marriage; she survives.

Ed attended Boardman, OH, schools. He served his country honorably as a member of the US Navy. Ed had a successful 40 year career with Westinghouse where he worked in elevator construction, retiring in the early 2000s. A hard worker all of his life, Ed delighted in working on his land. Maintaining his property gave him a sense of pride and peace. He grew a huge garden which was enjoyed by many. An avid reader, Ed especially enjoyed reading scripture and biblical books. His faith was very important to him; his love of the Lord and his family were second to none.

In addition to his wife, Pat, Ed is survived by three children Colleen L. Knuff of Pittsburgh, Jennifer L. Brenner (Mark) of Corry, Daniel Knuff of Saegertown; eight grandchildren; a sister Dorothy Shorr of Columbus, OH; multiple nieces and nephews.

Ed was preceded in death by two sisters.

Private services will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff at Crawford County Care Center for the wonderful care they provided.
