Dr. Greg Griffith

Dr. Greg Griffith, 69, of Meadville, passed away on September 4, 2025. He was born on March 2, 1956, to Kenneth and Doris Griffith, and devoted his life to his family, his profession, and his many passions.

He built a long and respected career as an optometrist, where he was dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients. In addition to his optometric practice, he was an accomplished real estate investor who valued hard work and perseverance in every aspect of life.

A devoted family man, he is survived by his four children: Trisha (Kristian Landstrom), Matt (Cara), Ryan (Alexanne), and Justin (Kenzie); as well as seven beloved grandchildren: Rylie, Logan, Oliver, Haley, Gemma, Cal, and Isla; His long time partner Judy Duffy, his brother Scott (Susan) and his sister Vicki (Steve). His greatest source of pride was his family, and he cherished the time he spent with them.

He was known for his tireless work ethic and independent spirit, living life on his own terms. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, and never liked to sit still, always finding purpose in staying active and productive. His competitive spirit was evident in everything that he did.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Doris Griffith.

Greg will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of dedication, love, and determination will endure through those whose lives he touched.

Family and friends are invited to call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

Family and friends are also invited to call from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Linesville, 6114 US Highway 6, Linesville, where Funeral Services will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Terry Smith officiating.

Greg will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.
