Donna L. Powell

Donna L. Powell, 72, of Springboro, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020, at the home of her daughter.

Donna was born in Meadville, on May 9, 1947, a daughter of the late George and Lavina (Maier) Smith.

She had been married to Harold Powell and Eugene Proper; they survive.

Over the years Donna had been employed by the former Andover Industries, Rusco, B&J Forge and Electric Forge. She attended the former Randolph Schools. Donna was creative, artistic and possessed a strong will that will never be forgotten. She will be remembered for her great love of family and will be sadly missed.

Donna is survived by a daughter Rhonda Powell, two grandchildren Meagan Powell, Morgan Powell, all of Meadville, a sister LuAnn Smith, a brother Warren Smith, both of Guys Mills, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister Helen Marks, two brothers George "Dusty" Smith and Robert Smith.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 2-4 at Wesbury's Campus Community Room, 31 Park Ave., Meadville, to celebration Donna's life.
