Donald (Donnie) James Reagle left this earth on Sunday, September 22, 2019 to join his Savior, Jesus Christ, in the kingdom of heaven.
Donnie was born on January 1, 1968 to James and Donna (Smith) Reagle in Meadville, PA. He was late coming into this world which then set the precedent for Donnie’s inability to be on time for every other event in his life with the exception of his wedding day.
Donnie was a 1986 graduate of Meadville Area High School and a held a degree from Vale Technical Institute in Automotive Technology. He had a talent for automotive service management and worked at several dealerships in the area. Donnie had a magnetic personality which drew people toward him. He made friends everywhere he went and could talk about anything to anyone for hours at a time. His father in law’s nickname for him was “Mr. Mayor.”
Donnie had many interests and hobbies which included coaching his sons’ baseball and Little Gridder’s football teams, archery and rifle hunting, golf, bowling, and attending church with his father in law. He was very mechanical and could build and fix anything. He loved going to dirt track races with his boys. His favorite thing in this world was spending time with his sons—no matter what they were doing. His two boys brought him the greatest joy in his life. He never missed a single event they were in. He was more than just an amazing father; he was their mentor and best friend to his kids. Donnie would do anything to make the people he loved in this world happy. His generosity knew no limits. Lastly, his hunting camp in Strattanville, PA was one of his favorite peaceful places to be.
He leaves behind the following loved ones to forever cherish his memory: his parents, Donna and Jim Reagle, his beloved sons, Trey Jeffrey and Jaden Cole Reagle, the mother of his sons and love of his life, Kerry Lee (Wilcox) Reagle, his sister, Brenda Kanline and her husband Rick, his nephew, Ricky, his special friend, Cheryl Weaver, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was especially close to his father in law George (Butch) and Judy Wilcox with whom he spent much time and his mother in law, Carolyn Sears who loved him like a son.
Donnie, you brought so much joy and laughter into our lives, and we were so blessed to have you for the time we did. Thank you for everything you did to make our family happy and loved. Your life was cut way too short—you still had so much to do and see. You will be forever in our hearts and our love for you will be eternal. Until we meet again, my love…
