Diana "Diane" M. Consider, 83, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Embassy of Park Ave.
Diane was born in Meadville on April 2, 1943, a daughter of the late Paul A. and Philomena (Dalessio) Consider.
She was a member of St. Agatha Church.
Following her 1961 graduation from the former St. Agatha School, Diane was employed by the former American Viscose for many years. In 1972 she moved to Alexandria, VA, where she sold Estee Lauder Cosmetics for 14 years, then was employed in the furniture retail industry for 16 years. She relocated to Erie before moving back to Meadville in 2005. Diane had a special place in her heart for children and following her retirement, she enjoyed working at the YMCA as an aide for children.
Diane is survived by a brother David Consider (Cindy) of Myrtle Beach, SC; two nephews David Consider (Dawn) of Denver, NC, Darren Consider (partner Paul Dreps) of Myrtle Beach, SC; a niece Courtney Humes of Pittsburgh; a great niece Lydia Humes; a great nephew Aidan Humes; a very special "niece and nephew" Alec and Laura Bidwell.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by five aunts Ethel Lovecchio, Bebe Courson, Rose E. Vardaro, Jeanne A. Bidwell, Evelyn Trace and an uncle Patrick Dalessio.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, October 12, 2026, at St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, with Fr. Jeff Lucas, Pastor, officiating.
Diane will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
