Delorse Burnett

Delorse Burnett, 69, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family.

Delorse was born in Little Rock, AR, on March 28, 1957, a daughter of the late Fletcher and Willie (Wofford) Moore.

On June 13, 1992, Delorse married Marvin Burnett, Jr.; he survives.

She was a member of Beacon Liberty St. Temple Church of God in Christ.

Delorse graduated from Meadville High School. In her younger years she was employed by Taco Bell, Allegheny College, and as a home health aide, until her health began to fail.

In addition to her husband, Marvin, Delorse is survived by children Jerome Moore (Laura), Marcell Jenkins (Jennifer), Delilah Moore Jenkins, Marvin Marcell Burnett, all of Meadville; grandchildren Malakai Hollabaugh, Kingston Hollabaugh, Legend Hollabaugh, Lazlo Burnett, Zimaura Burnett, Sampson Moore, Stephon Jenkins, Damian Jenkins, Arianna Jenkins; siblings Jimmy Taylor (Faye) of Chaparral, MX, Dorothy Chatman, Johnnie Mae Goodrum, both of Meadville, Willie Mae Singletary (O.C.) of Colorado Springs, CO, Samuel Moore of Denver, CO, Shirley Moore, Larry Moore (Sharon) both of Colorado Springs, CO, Dale Moore of Meadville, Freddie Moore of Corry; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by siblings Izola Moody, Fletcher Moore, and Mary Lawson

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

A Home Going Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Rd., Meadville, with Larry Wofford officiating.

Delorse will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.
