David A. Luzier

David Allen Luzier, 76, of Saegertown, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at Meadville Medical Center.

David was born in Meadville, on January 24, 1949, a son of the late Arthur Pershing and Margaret E. (McCartney) Luzier.

On September 11, 1971 Dave married the former Nora Kay Hayes; she survives.

Dave was a 1966 graduate of the former Townville High School and continued his education by earning an Associate Degree in accounting from the former Alliance College. On April 17, 1969 Dave was inducted into the US Army and served his country honorably until January 14, 1971. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, M 16 Medal and the 68 Expert Medal. He continued his service in the US Army Reserves until April 16, 1975. Over the years, David worked as an accountant for various law firms in Meadville before retiring as an accountant for Chipsco.

In addition to his wife, Nora, of 54 years, Dave is survived by two sons Stephen Lynn Luzier (Yariela A.) of Lake City, Eric David Luzier of Cheswick; two granddaughters Victoria Lynn and Rachelle Lynn; two brothers James Resinger (Sheila); Daniel Resinger; his sister Marcia Dodge; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Dave was preceded in death by his stepfather Clarence Resinger; siblings Lynn Luzier, Tom Resinger; sister in law Louise Hawk; brother in law Gary Hawk; nephew Bryan Resinger; and great nephew Corey Hawk.

Family and friends are invited to call from 1-4 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 330 BROAD ST., SAEGERTOWN, where Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM with Rev. Jeff Conley officiating. Service will begin with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006.

David will be laid to rest in Saegertown Cemetery.
