Daisy Delphine Mook

Daisy Delphine Mook, 83, of Springboro, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, at Meadville Medical Center.

Daisy was born in Zelienople, on April 3, 1938, a daughter of the late William Frank and Daisy Matilda (Barshney) Smith.

On March 1, 1969 Daisy married Kenneth Mook; he preceded her in death on June 2, 2000. She had previously been married to Edward Pardee who preceded her in death on September 10, 1972.

In her earlier years, Daisy had attended local churches.

She attended Cambridge Springs schools. A hard worker all of her life, Daisy had been employed as a waitress in the Cambridge Springs area, as a Nurse Aide at Rolling Fields, in the laundry at Edinboro Manor, and worked on the family dairy farm. Additionally she ran "Dee Dee Acres" where she raised her prized miniature horses that she proudly showed at area fairs. She was a member of Pioneer Steam & Gas Engine Society serving on their Board of Directors. Daisy enjoyed traveling and participated in many Anderson Bus trips. She also enjoyed baking and had an appreciation for country music, especially Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. Daisy's greatest joy was spending time with family. She will be sadly missed.

Daisy is survived by four children William Pardee of Albion, Tammie Jones (David) of Springboro, Cindy Bonanno (Thomas) of Conneautville, Bonnie Mook of Conneaut, OH; three step children Kenneth Mook (Judy) of Saegertown, Betty Armel of Sumter, SC, Luticia Lynn (Wayne) of Meadville; six grandchildren Edward Pardee (Cary), Kelli Martin (Joseph), Ricky Loughner (Jessica), Loretta Unger (Joe), Angie Bortner (Shaun), Lynnette Stein (Thomas); many step grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a brother Harvey Smith (Judy) of Cambridge Springs; her best friend since high school Flora Jean Artman of Corry; her beloved border collie John-John, also known as Pucky; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, and husbands, Daisy was preceded in death by a son Robert Pardee; three brothers William Smith, Archie Smith and an infant brother; two infant sisters; a step son Donald Mook; and a son in law Bernard Mook.

Family and friends are invited to call from 3-7 PM on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST, MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, with nephew Tom Mook officiating.

Daisy will be laid to rest in Venango Cemetery.
