Cora L. Miller

Cora L. Miller, age 62, of Meadville, entered into the arms of her heavenly Father on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 4:08 PM at Scripps Mercy Medical Center in Chula Vista, CA.

She was born November 2, 1962, to Lester and Sarah (Miller) Gingerich.

Cora was married to Melvin Miller August 19, 1982.

Survived by her loving husband, two daughters and six sons: Laura (Meadville), James (Celesta) (Guthrie, KY), Marcus (Penfield, PA), Matthew (Elizabeth) (Barlow, OH), LeAnna (Meadville), Jonathan (Sharon) (Barlow, OH), Lavern (Heidi) (Jackson Center), Lonnie Ray (Winesburg, OH); eight grandchildren Kaylee Joy, Gracelyn Janelle, Jaymon LaVon, Krystal Joelle, Jayla Nichole, Caleb Andre, Jewelie Noelle, and Landon Markus; four brothers and three sisters Melvin (Alma Jane) Gingerich (Millersburg, OH), Alma (Dan) Miller (Munfordville, KY), Lester Jr. (Laura) Gingerich (Munfordville, KY), Anna (Raymond) Miller (Munfordville, KY), Robert (Esther) Gingerich (Munfordville, KY), Roy (Erma) Gingerich (Munfordville, KY), Ada (Milo Ray) Kauffman (McBain, MI); and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Allen Gingerich, Raymond Gingerich, and Monroe Gingerich.

Cora enjoyed spending time with her family and especially delighted in her grandchildren. She was a friendly, warm, kind soul who cared about others even while suffering from debilitating back pain. She also enjoyed cooking large meals, baking, puzzles, and sewing craft projects.

She was a faithful member of The Guys Mills Amish Church.

She will always be loved and missed by her family and friends; and so we conclude, it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

Visitation will be anytime after 4 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and anytime after 2 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at The Guys Mills Amish Community Building, 7394 Vincent Rd., Cochranton, PA 16314, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 9:30 AM, with Bishop Vernon Miller officiating.
