Charles G. Shellenberger

Charles G. Shellenberger, of Saegertown, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Caring Place in Franklin, PA.

Charles was born in Meadville, PA, on November 9, 1944, a son of the late Morris and Alice (Schlosser) Shelenberger.

On July 9,1966 Charles married Gloria Sue Mattern, she survives.

Charles graduated from Saegertown High School in 1962. He retired from Leech Industries, Inc.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Harold Eugene, three sisters Ruth Lybarger, Shirley Marvin and Margaret June Shelenberger.

He is survived by brothers Richard Duane Shelenberger, Philip Shelenberger and by sisters Dorothy Harrison, Christine McCullough and Janet Sheakley. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 12-1 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 330 BROAD STREET, SAEGERTOWN, where Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Sam Marchetta offiiating.

Charles will be laid to rest in Saegertown Cemetery.
