Brooke Christine (Byham) Jaram, lovingly known as "Sweet Pea" and "Brookie Boo Boos", of Rochester, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at home; she was 35.
Brooke was born in Erie, on January 10, 1991, a daughter of the late Jeffrey William Byham and Renee Lynn Miller. Throughout her life, Brooke's dad was her best friend.
On October 31, 2022, Brooke married Ronald R. Jaram; he survives.
A graduate of Meadville High School, Brooke also graduated from Edinboro University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She was always proud of her internship at the Tionesta Probation Office. When her aunt opened Chateau Christine on Chestnut Street in Meadville, Brooke enjoyed helping to get the store up and running. Her attentive and sincere spirit, allowed her to easily connect with the customers and they loved her. Brooke was a loving and caring step mother to Benjamin and Blake and she had a heart for all children and animals. Her determination was admired by her family. Some of Brooke's greatest times were spent outdoors. She enjoyed riding roller coasters, fishing, kayaking, and RVing to Nelson Ledges Quarry Park for outdoor concerts and she loved eating crab legs. Brooke will be sadly missed.
In addition to her husband, Ronald, Brooke is survived by two step sons Benjamin and Blake both of Rochester; a sister Brandi Lawless (Nathan) of San Francisco, CA; her paternal grandmother Barbara Byham of Meadville who was instrumental in raising her; a nephew Griffin; her Aunt Christine Yamrick (Joe) of Meadville; her Uncle Chuck Byham (Diana) of Meadville; and extended family members.
In addition to both her parents, Brooke was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather William Byham who was a second father to her, maternal grandmother Jean (McPherson) Kesling, and maternal grandfather Gary Miller.
Private services will be held.
Brooke will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.
