Bonnie J. Hampton

Bonnie J. (Locke) Hampton, 79, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center.

Bonnie was born in Meadville, on November 7, 1946, a daughter of the late Paul E. and Virginia (Scott) Locke and was a step daughter of the late Bernice (Baker) Locke.

Before moving back to Meadville, Bonnie lived in Ocala, FL for 53 years. She attend the former Randolph East Meadville schools.  Bonnie had worked as a server and bar tender at various restaurants including the Ocala Country Club.

Bonnie is survived by a daughter Bridget Wallace of Ocala, FL; a granddaughter Neveah; two sisters Carol Carney (David) of Calliewassie, SC, Paula DeMaison of Meadville; three brothers Richard Locke of Meadville, John Locke (Barbie) of Dunnellon, FL, Alan Locke (Vickie) of Madison, WI; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

Bonnie will be laid to rest in Denny Cemetery.
