Arlene G. Wrightington

Arlene G. Wrightington, 92, of Meadville, formerly of North Haven, CT, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at Embassy of Park Ave., Meadville.

Arlene was born in New Haven, CT, on October 6, 1931, a daughter of the late Jess and Gladys (Handy) Stone.

On February 27, 1950 Arlene married Floyd Wrightington, Sr.; he preceded her in death on March 16, 2000.

Arlene was an elected animal control officer for North Haven, CT for numerous years. She was a graduate of North Haven High School and had attended Old Stone Church, North Branford, CT. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Arlene is survived by her children Ernest Wrightington of East Haven, CT, Treasure Kryszkiewricz, of Oxford, CT, Melody Dempsey (Raymond), Felicia Fogal (Steven) both of Meadville, PA; 21 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons Floyd Wrightington, Jr, Jess Wrightington; twelve brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE, PA.
