Angie M. Mangino

Angie M. Mangino, 94, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Wesbury United Methodist Community

Angie was born in Meadville, on December 27, 1923, the daughter of the late Frank and Lena (Trozzi) Mangino.

She was a lifetime member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, served as an Eucharistic Minister and was involved with the Care and Concern Ministry.

Angie had been employed by the former Woolworth Department Store for 44 years. Starting her career in Meadville, she was promoted to management and served in that capacity in Erie and Johnstown retiring in 1986 from the store locate in the McKeesport Mall. She graduated from Meadville High School in 1942 and was a member of the Italian Civic Club Auxiliary.

She is survived by three sisters Betty Bailey and her husband Donald of FL, Terry Guzzo and her husband John of Dubois, Rose Frisina and her husband Anthony of Meadville, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Michael Mangino, Ralph Mangino, four sisters Florence Wildrick, Louise Surano, Josephine Cervone and Joan Baiera.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-5 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 22, at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Andrew Boyd, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Angie will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery West Mead Twp.
