Allen "Spike" M. Mosley, 73, of Kevin Drive Meadville, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Allen was born in Meadville, on July 6, 1948, a son of the late William and Eleanor (Bass) Mosley.

As a youngster Allen was a member of Bethel AME Church and later attended United Faith Fellowship Church.

Following his 1967 graduation from Meadville High School, Allen became employed by the former Super Duper. He entered the US Air Force on September 25, 1967 and served his country honorably until his discharge on September 20, 1071. He then began his career with PPG Industries where he worked over 40 years in the Electronics Department, retiring in 2014. During his time with PPG, Allen traveled twice to China sharing his expertise. He had a passion for technology and also worked part time servicing computers for Kost Technologies while working at PPG. Allen was a member of VFW Post #2006, the former Giblem Lodge #29, and the former Triple City Elks. Allen enjoyed riding his motorcycle and took numerous cross country trips. He looked forward to his daily workouts and staying active. He was a baseball fan and a die hard Steelers fan. Allen will be remembered as a people person who loved everyone and was very kind to children. He was a generous and awesome father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be sadly missed.

Allen is survived by two children Aniece Mosley of Meadville, Devon Jenkins (Tinecia) of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren Areanna Jenkins, Devon Jenkins, Ashanti Jenkins, Jay Keith; one great grandchild Imani Elvine; two sisters Dolores Mosley of Covington, GA, Carol Mosley of Meadville; a brother Larry Mosley (Janet) of Meadville; his God daughter Kendra Thompson of Meadville; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by three sisters Helen Lawrence, Susan Mosley-Brown, Debbie Mosley; two brothers Robert Mosley and William Mosley, Jr.; a niece AntiQua "T.T." King; and companion JoAnn Jenkins.

Family and friends are invited to call from 11 AM-1 PM on Friday, February 18, at United Faith Fellowship Church of God, 561 State St., Meadville, where a Home Going Service will follow at 1:00 PM. For those not able to attend the service, it will be livestreamed via the facebook page of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.

Allen will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006.

Memorial contributions may be made in Allen's memory to Alzheimers Association, 1600 Peninsula Dr., Suite 15 Erie, PA 16505.
